From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for helping others—it’s truly at the heart of who I am. I’m fun, outgoing, and deeply committed to making a positive impact in people’s lives. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, creating meaningful connections, or helping someone shine in their own unique way, I find joy in every moment of support.

With over 10 years of experience at Bluebell Park Special School and more than a decade working as a Personal Assistant across Merseyside, I bring both compassion and hands-on expertise to everything I do. My degree in Learning Support and Development has further enriched my understanding of how to offer support that truly makes a difference.

Outside of work, I’m a huge Liverpool FC fan, a lover of all things theatre and drama, and a big kid at heart when it comes to Disney and theme parks!

I’m really enjoying my role here at Circle Inclusive CIC – it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community. Although my previous roles have been in HR and financial services, I have a lifetime of experience in the care world.

I’ve cared for my sister since childhood and have supported other vulnerable adults for over 20 years. These experiences have shaped my passion for creating an inclusive, empowering environment where everyone can thrive.

Hey, I’m Cheryl – or Cheryl Sugar to my friends at Circle Inclusive! I’m caring, understanding, and truly passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives.

My journey started early, shaped by my experience growing up with my younger sister, who lives with a wide spectrum of disabilities. That personal insight has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities – and a lifelong commitment to inclusion and support.

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer and love bringing my energy into promoting healthy eating, fitness, and wellbeing. I’m also a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience working in SEN schools, where I’ve supported young people in reaching their potential.

To say I love what I do is an understatement – I’m always thriving, determined, and dedicated to helping others build their confidence, independence, and sense of self-worth. Seeing people grow and succeed is what drives me every day.
